It verifies that Telegram group members hold specific Counterparty tokens or own a Bitcoin address. Only verified users can join or remain in gated groups.
Add @xcpgroupbot to your group, grant it admin permissions, run /setpolicy to configure requirements, and enable "Approve new members" in your group settings.
"basic" requires proof of Bitcoin address ownership. "token" requires holding a minimum amount of a specific Counterparty asset (e.g., 100 XCP).
Nothing. Existing members are untouched. The bot only gates new join requests. Use /enforce if you want to apply the policy to existing members.
The bot periodically rechecks member balances. If someone no longer meets the requirements, they are restricted (read-only) or kicked, depending on your policy.
